FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
COREOFIT OFFERS EXPERT PHYSIOTHERAPY ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON SPORTS INJURIES, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT. WE ARE HERE TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT PHYSIOTHERAPY.
Q.How long does a physio session last?
Usually, the initial consultation lasts an hour and subsequent consultations take about 45-50 minutes.
Q.What do I expect on the first visit?
Your physiotherapist will interview you and get a thorough history of your complaint and find out what your short term and long term goals are. He will then conduct a comprehensive objective physical examination. Using all the information gathered and any imaging results (X-Ray, MRI, etc.), your physiotherapist will give you a diagnosis. Together, you will then devise a plan to achieve your health goals.
Q.Should I bring my X-Rays and test results?
Absolutely! Any and all objective tests are very useful when diagnosing musculoskeletal issues.
Q.Can I claim my physio fees from my insurance?
This depends on the insurance cover that you have. Generally, policies that cover “outpatient services” will include physiotherapy. We will give you a receipt which includes the physiotherapist’s registration number. You can then use this to claim.
Q.Do I need to bring any special clothing?
No. We have a full line of sporty kit of all sizes which you can wear as needed.
